Holly Lungwitz, Student Therapist

I grew up near the beautiful Smoky Mountains in Knoxville, TN. I completed a B.A. in English, Education, and Spanish from SMU in Dallas, TX in 2007.  I taught middle school language arts in inner city Dallas, and later made the transition to become a stay-at-home mom.

My husband’s job took us to his hometown of Wichita in 2010, and I have come to love this community dearly.  I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Friends University.  This decision was made, in large part, due to the transformative power of therapy that I have experienced personally. This process required dedication and hard work, and I am now deeply grateful as I reflect on what I have learned and how it has changed the trajectory of my family’s future in a positive way.

I am particularly passionate about supporting couples, adolescents, and other family relationship dynamics as well as individuals working through trauma. My therapy style is influenced by Gottman, EFT, Bowen Theory, and IFS.I feel honored and humbled to bear witness to each client's story.
