Lincoln Scott, Grof Holotropic BreathworkⓇ Facilitator
Lincoln hails from Bel Aire, Kansas, a Wichita suburb, where his day job involves master craftsman work in home redesign and construction. With a BA degree from the University of Kansas in environmental studies he strives to bring his remodeling business more in tune with lowering carbon footprint, energy savings, and recycling of materials.
Lincoln has found profound personal healing through Grof BreathworkⓇ and related modalities for many years. He has also supported many others in their healing and adventures in Stan Grof’s breathwork. A native son of Kansas, Lincoln will support the Grof Breathwork presence in the Midwest in the coming years. He has worked on staff at Synergia Retreat center in Santa Fe, New Mexico for the past two years, offering weeklong, residential experience in Grof BreathworkⓇ.
Lincoln has studied with Natalie Goldberg, the Zen Buddhist creative writing teacher, for the past 14 years. He has developed a strong writing practice, designed to assist the therapeutic process and the art of integration. He has led many workshops in this practice at breathwork retreats around the country and weekend gatherings in his hometown. He also leads a weekly writing group with a nature-based setting. He is currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in the field of counseling education, eyeing a second career ahead.
