Melanie Wood, LCMFT, LCAC
I believe we all possess an inner healing intelligence which guides us through our healing. At times, we may need knowledge and guidance to access that part of us.
After spending several years working in various corporate industries, I chose to utilize my experiences both personal and professional to pursue a new field. I graduated from Friends University in 2019 with a Masters in Family Therapy. Since then, I have completed training in IPNB, AEDP, and PSIP and also have integrated IFS and Polyvagal theories.
As a non-judgmental presence, I use an integrative approach to therapy which includes nervous system awareness, somatic tools, attachment and primary consciousness to help clients access their healthiest self. I focus my work with those who've experienced narcissistic abuse, coercive control and spiritual abuse as well as those with relational trauma. I am here to bear witness to your story and provide support through your healing journey.
